BEST/WORST PRIVATE GLOBAL HEALTH INSURANCE

Can anyone discuss the best/worst private health insurance plans based on filing actual claims? We are in our sixties, haven't filed a claim in a year overseas in France, but read here and there that our company has a terrible reputation for paying claims. Any opinions pro or con on the best/worst companies?

Oh, what do you do about coverage on home visits to the states? Does your plan cover short visits. Ours does, which makes it attractive, but if they don't pay claims then it's moot. Thanks in advance for your input.
