auto-entrepreneur work scheme for a non-european?

Hi guys,

I am trying to find out more information about the auto-entrepreneur scheme but specifically for Non-Europeans citizens. I can't seem to find any restrictions and I find that a little weird.

I am an American citizen (living in the U.S.) and I program computers for a living. I used to live in France for 2 years and I loved every minute of it. The only problem I found when I was living in France was that I didn't have the legal status to work. The auto-entrepreneur program would be a good solution to my delima if it works for Non-Europeans.

P.S. I already have the auto_entrepreneur_EN.pdf document. It's helpful but I need to find something more specific to my issue.
