South African considering moving to France

Hi, I am a 26 year old female from Pretoria, South Africa. I studied law and is currently finishing my internship at the law firm at which I am employed. I will be admitted to practice as an attorney by the end of the year. My boyfriend is French and moved to South Africa last year. He works at Alliance Francaise, where I also take French lessons. We are considering going to France for a year or two or more, at the end of the year. His family stays in Anthony, a suburb of Paris, so would we want to live nearby. What type of visa can I apply for and where do I start looking for a job? I don't necessarily have do something in my field. I would also love to teach English, work with kids (was a nanny in London and the US), maybe apply for a job at the SA Embassy or a corporate Ameican/UK firm. I don't really know where to start looking for opportunities. What would be the living expenses (transport, accommodation, groceries) for myself more or less? What about medical aid? If anyone has some advice on the above, I would really appreciate it.
