Advice finding jobs in France?

Hi Everyone
I am planning on moving to Annecy/Savoie area this Autumn or early 2011 and would appreciate any advice on job hunting/finding work in France. My conversational and written French is pretty good and I also speak a bit of German. I have a degree and 7 years experience of publishing, sales, marketing and online retail but would be open to doing anything really.
Any ideas/help would be greatly appreciated...
