Just arriving in Orleans

Hello, I just arrived in France a few weeks ago. I am trying ton settle in Orleans with my boyfriend who is french. We have been together for about two years now. I am from San Diego California and I met him while he was doing an internship at San Diego State. Sine then I have been to France for a month and then he came to USA for 3 months trying to find a job and the time in between was long distance. Now that he found a good job in France I am here looking for a teaching or nanny job I stay in France till October 23. I have been working with kids for about 6 years now and have experience with all ages. I started out babysitting then working at after school programs for elementary aged children and then I worked at a day care as an infant teacher and lastly teaching pre-school. Any advice about jobs in Orleans or Paris would be greatly appreciated. We found an apartment in Orleans just 10 minutes from the train station so hopefully commuting to work will not be a problem. I would love to be involved in expats groups getting together or any clubs or programs so I can meet more people. I love reading, traveling, photography, hiking, and socializing.
