Duras ( Lot-et-Garonne) - Is this a good location?

We have recently visited Duras and it seems like a lovely relaxing location to relocate to. Eymet is the ' Little Britain' or so I'm told but I'm wondering if you guys have any experience as to whether Duras ( which is close by) is a good spot to lay your hat. We like the thought of having some 'Brits' around but ideally would like some idea on the area itself......and what people are attracted to in this location.
