The quotes for Medical Insurance for a couple in their 70's seems impossible to accommodate in a Social Security budget. That may prevent us from applying for a long stay visa. We leave for Europe 1 Sept., and have our Consulate appt. on Aug.15th. We will fly to Frankfurt regardless - to purchase a car or van and head out to Provence. It would be helpful to have a firm destination in mind for a rental in the 400 to 600 Euros/month range (ala Kathleen Peddigord). Any comments, suggestions, or recommendations
would be appreciated.
