Affordable/Free French language classes

I am returning to France after 45 years living in the USA. Is there a community college of sorts with cheap of free french language learning classes? I am a dual citizen with french passport. Leaving the USA and heading to Colmar, France and will be house-sitting there the month of October. Understand I must learn French to get a job and support myself. Thank you for any help or advice.
