House Ventilation / Wind

So, I need the assistance of the hive mind. Our apartment is on the 10th floor and has no air conditioning. We work from home and keep the windows / doors open so that it's bearable inside. We're having problems with the wind, however. So far, I haven't found a doorstop that's heavy enough to keep a door in place and we often have inside doors slamming all day. We've bought 2 different kinds of doorstops - weighted cylindrical ones and wooden wedges with rubber straps on them. Even using both, we often find the wind is so strong, the doorstops get catapulted into the hallway and the paint around the doorframes often chip from the force of the door slamming.

If anyone has any suggestions, I'm open to it. Also, the papers on our desks have to be weighted down with basically anything we can find.
