Cute towns on the Provence coast?

Hi all! I’m new here, looking for a home base to start setting up in preparation for a post-Covid world. I was hoping you guys may have some insights into smallish but still cute towns in Provence, east of Marseille and west of Nice?

Specifically I’m struggling with a good balance between actually having a yard, like at least half an acre, and having access to other people. I’d like to live somewhere cute, like with art classes and thrift stores and museums and music lessons and heck, maybe even a theatre if we’re getting ambitious here. I’d like to live somewhere I can meet my neighbours and meet other people and feel like part of the community (in a way that doesn’t involve bars or pubs ??). But I also need green spaces and some privacy, and I don’t have half a million to spend on getting it ?? Have any of you lived in, or visited, or passed through a place that may balance those paradoxes?

Also, I’d be working remotely, so reliable internet would be a plus ??
