Any balance over 1000 euro in our cheque account would be auto transfer to our savings account and when our cheque account balance il would auto top.

In the last year the auto top up has ceased to work but the transfer to saving over 1000 is still operating.

Consequently we are not confident to write a cheque for over 1000 euro in fear of us writing a cheque for an account with insufficient sums, an extremely serious offence in France.

You can imagine the problems/worry this causes eg how to pay any serious euro bill and the need to keep transferring between accounts (very difficult for this old man)

To compound matters CA don't seem to answer my emails and the English speaking help line publishes no Telephone number!

Anyone else experencing similar problems? Advice welcome
