VFS Global Appointment

We have our long stay visa application prepared and are trying to schedule our appointment with the French consulate in San Fransisco through VFS Global. Every time I try to do this on their website, when I get to the calendar it won’t let me select a date. I am now stuck in an email loop with their costumer service that is going nowhere. Does anyone have any advice on how to get the calendar on the website to work? thank you.
