Soon-to-be Grad moving to Germany

Hi,

I'm finishing my Math/CompSci degree in May, and my wife (German citizen) and I plan to move to Germany, hopefully the Dortmund area (but that's not set in stone). I understand that there's a shortage of IT people, and they're importing them into Germany.

What worries me is my prospect of landing a good job there. Most places are looking for someone with years of experience, which I don't have yet...I've done tech support for 3 years, and added a bit of programming for the last year and a half. One other thing to complicate matters: I'll be graduating in May, as I said above, but I'm also 39 years old....any advice on the best way to go about this? Thanks in advance!
