Finding minimally furnished long-term (year-round) rentals on Paros for permanent move

I see a lot of furnished rentals online - some of them a little too furnished with either wall-to-wall stuff or tons of personal items. I'm looking for something "lightly furnished" on Paros. Is that possible? Or are landlords willing to remove some items for year-round tenants who have some of their own belongings? For example, I don't really need twin beds in a second bedroom - I need space for a desk, as I'm a self-employed writer.

My plan is to sell/give away/store my biggest pieces of furniture, as I did with my last international move. But I'd still like to bring some small side tables, shelves, books, art, dishware, etc. to make the place feel more like me, since it's a permanent move.

I'm older and have collected some nice pieces over the years. The conventional advice of "get rid of it and just buy replacements" is fine if you're a 20-something or renting a second vacation home. But the things I'd like to keep are not replaceable with IKEA or thrift store finds, and I find it weird to think of living the rest of my life surrounded by someone else's belongings.

Having been an expat before, I understand I need to deal with shipping costs and import headaches for my household goods. So I don't need advice about that, other than any recommendations for businesses to help with it. I just want to know how feasible it is to find minimally furnished places on Paros and how flexible Greek landlords are about such things. Also, how difficult is it to ship a small-ish container to Paros once my visa status allows? Do I have to go to Piraeus for it?

I'm in no rush, as I'm not planning to move for about 12-15 months. Just getting my ducks in a row. I plan to Airbnb on arrival and look in person for places, but by then my things will already have been either packed or disposed of. Thanks in advance!
