Crete: Seeking advice on vacation property rental investment

We love Greece and my husband and I are thinking of buying a 2 bed, 2 bath home in Chania or Rethymnon, about 300 m from the beach. We would like to rent it out as a vacation property until we can retire to Crete. However, we want to make sure it’s financially feasible.

I would love to talk to someone about how much revenue per year we could realistically expect to make from a rental. Would anyone in this group be willing to share some numbers with me? Or have a friend I can talk to?

I’d prefer to talk to owners and property management companies who have direct experience with renting out vacation properties. I’m leery of real estate agents as I think there could be a slight conflict of interest. ?
