Right now, I am seeking any useful information on streamlining the Visa Renewal process. My fiance has a recently-expired Visa (Jan. 26,2022). She has had several 10-year Visas, allowing her entry to the U.S., and never over-stayed her Visa, or violated any of the required Embassy protocols. And now, she is looking to renew her Visa, once again. The current response (Guatemala City authorities) for Visa Renewal is December 2024 for an appointment/interview. There may be no choice in the matter, but to me, this is totally unacceptable. Are there any Waivers or Exemptions or Expedient Avenues to pursue, limiting the wait time just for a Renewal ?
That's my BIG question, and I would appreciate hearing from anyone that has a girlfriend/fiance/novia that travels back/forth from Guatemala to the U.S. on a B1/B2 Visa, and what kind of renewal wait times have they experienced. Thanks!
