So my question concerns the ugly topic of healthcare/health insurance. I've heard from others outside of this forum that healthcare in Guatemala runs the gamut of good, great & really bad and health insurance can be equally as challenging. As many or most of you know the healthcare costs here in the states has skyrocketed in the past decade so as we've gotten older and nearer retirement it's become a huge concern. We want and need good healthcare and affordable health insurance but also want to live a relatively decent lifestyle, which becomes more and more difficult here in the U.S.. Any advice and info is greatly appreciated.
