Shipping household goods

I need to ship mostly household items, and art from Baltimore Maryland to Guatemala. I would say we have about 4 pieces of small furniture, 2 mountain bikes and 25 boxes of art work, books and clothes to bring. A quarter container is being quoted now as over $7200 without packing! I'm wondering if anyone has a company or agent they might recommend. I could also just send some thing air freight and wait for the prices of ocean shipping to come down. Any help would be much appreciated.
