Expats, what is it like living in Xela ?

Curious what expats think about living in Xela ? We are moving there is January or February. We have lived abroad before and currently live in Nicaragua. I would guess there are many similarities with life in Nicaragua, but also lots of difference. Pros and cons of living there ?
We speak Spanish, and my wife is a native Spanish speaker. We love cool weather....our only big CON we have in our current city. If it was about 20 degrees cooler here, we'd be pretty happy, and well, it is about 20 degrees cooler there. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
