I have read that a couple can easily live on $1,500/month in Roatan. My husband and I plan to retire there, in a modest 2 bedroom/2 bath house, for which we will pay cash. We have done a lot of research and know what the basic food costs are, the price of goods and services, as well as the high price of electricity. However, I was wondering if anyone who now lives there would be willing to share their experiences with the costs of living in Roatan?? Thank you!
