MBA in Hong Kong

I am an American living in Hong Kong and want to pursue my Graduate Degree while here in Hong Kong for 2 years. My Undergrad was earned at a US University.
I have found that many local Universities (such as HKU) focus on Asian business, which is not necessarily my career focus. I would, however, like to earn a credible degree showing diversity from my original course of study. I am looking for advice from anyone that has weighed the pros/cons to receiving a distance MBA through an American school versus a Hong Kong University, European or Australian. Since I'm American native, is it more highy regarded to stick with American-based accredited curriculum or to present an 'overseas' MBA?
