Visa w/out Employer

My husband and I are wanting to relocate to Budapest. We want to be legal but we're not interested in moving to Budapest to get jobs. My husband is a writer and I make jewelry. We can financially sustain ourselves with these ventures. However, is a "job" necessary for visa purposes? One thought, I have a company registered in the State of Texas for my jewelry. How difficult would it be to claim this company (my company) as my employer and move the company to Hungary? We are looking for anyway to move, legally, to Budapest without getting saddled with a day job. Any suggestions?
