Real Estate purchase

I am in the process of buying an apartment in Budapest and need to gop to a Hungarian Embassy to have an "official" copy taken of my passport. Does anyone know if I can do this in London and how would I go about it. The UK emabssy website doesn't appear to cover this sort of question.
