Not paid parking fine

Hello to everybody. Have a question and hope someone could help me.

I have not paid parking fine in Budapest some 2,5 years ago (didn't have time to find bank or post office, latter lost the ticket).

Now I have to travel to Hungary with the same car, same plates and would like to know what can I expect? Do they keep the record so long? Do they exchange data - Budapest traffic authorities and border police?

I am not from EU country. Btw, I was not the owner of the car when it happened, now I am.
