I've been photographing Budapest for the past 4 years. I really love this city and would like to offer some of the most spectacular sites. First plan photography shoot of the castle. If you really want a good shoot plan for early morning to late evening. The best shots in my opinion are at night the castle area is well lit and almost completely safe. Fishermans Bastion is one of the most photographed areas. Overlooking the Chain Bridge - Lanc Hid is an excellent area to shoot from as well. The castle has a walkway all around it and most people miss the nice stroll and photograph the north side. Don't miss the walk and plan on doing 360 degrees. The east side of the castle is another are frequently missed it has some of the oldest structures and a glimpse of the underside very seldom photographed. The Castle Gardens is a new area and very beautiful in the summer. Next area are the three main bridges - Margaret Hid, Lanc Hid and the Liberty Bridge. All very beautiful and easily within walking distance of each other. If you miss the Metro 4 line you will be missing some awesome architectual photos. The whole Metro system is worth a photo shoot within itself. This city was mostly spared destruction of the Art Neuvo and Art Deco structures. You can find them by doing a search on your browser - Budapest Art Neuvo. I love the river it changes everyday. The Parliment is a wonderful building day and night. Many photos can be found on both sides. Well, that's just a few of the many sites. Of course if you are a street photographer there are many people shots and the diverse cultures of the world are represented here due to the many tourists visiting the city. Have fun and enjoy just check the different sites and if you want to see my shots just let me know and you can see them on Instagram.
