Hello all-
I've read through the threads about Hungarian real estate and it seems that, unlike in the USA (where I am from), lawyers play an important role in the process. It is also different in that there is no MLS-ergo, one cannot simply deal with a single agent to look at different properties-you must contact each property's agent directly. This brings up a few questions, and I look forward to hearing from locals who are experienced in these matters.
Question one-is what I just said above generally accurate?
Question two-Can anyone recommend a good lawyer?
Question three-Regarding agents, if I am correct about the listings they have only being for their own clients, are there some agents that I should avoid? Any agents that are recommended?
Question four (related to 3)-Which websites have good current listings? I'd rather not waste my time going through endless searches for apartments only to find out later that they are either sold long ago or grossly misrepresented in some way.
Thanks in advance for your help!
