Moving to Mumbai in 6 months - need guidance

Hello Everyone,
My family and I are moving from Mumbai, India in 6 months and are looking for advice and your experience regarding relocation.
Especially around how to ship our belongings (beds, tables, etc.) - do we get a container? how to get the stuff through indian customs... is it easy to ship a motorcycle as well?
