Which of the cities/towns on my list is best for my purposes?

I recently landed a job that allows me to work anywhere and I am considering moving to India. I've narrowed down the list to cities I would consider making my new home, but I want to make sure I'm not moving to a city where there is a clear distinction between locals and expats (I'd like to avoid a city with an us vs them mentality) so I can more organically make friends with the locals (I only speak english). I am not very interested in meeting tourists as they are constantly in and out and I'm looking for a long-term stay.

In your opinion which of these cities is best for my purposes. The cities/towns I chose may seem random but I chose them for specific reasons so there's no need to suggest others.

Locations:

Kochi

Dharamsala

Manali

Rishikesh

Kasol

Palolem or Anjuna beach (Goa)

Gokarna
