Best of both worlds

I am 66 and widowed. Live in Egland currently. I am going to be a part-time Expat. Being a pensioner on a very modest income. I will spend my winter months (November to April) in India. Specifically in Navsari. It is in the state of Gujarat, the nearest main cities being Surat and Ahmedabad. Navsari is becoming a city that is very popular with retirees. The cost of living is much smaller then the large metropolitan cities. One can comfortably live on the current UK state pension (just over £884 (88,400 rupees) per month or £11502 a year, that is 1,150,200 rupees per year). I guess it is the level of lifestyle one is looking for. We have our own large modern house in a gated community so that is one huge cost out of the way. But even renting in Navsari is with decent accommodation your money stretches a lot further. Navsari has excellent links to the rest of the country. Surat Airport is just 45 minutes away and can fly you to Delhi, Goa, Mumbai and other parts of the country. Excellent Rail links. And you will be able to catch the superfast train to Mumbai or Delhi from Surat.
Navsari itself is relatively quite place but is a fast growing go to place. This has recently increased the cost of renting or buying property but still very competitive to other locations.
Why not find out more about Navsari and let me know what you think.
