My name is Christophe Horvath, I am a 34 year old male Belgian and am based with my family in Jakarta. My two academic degrees are in international law, and political sciences and international relations, and I have also taken courses in environmental management as an associate student.
My experience is in governance, environment (particularly rain forest and coral reef related issues), human rights (especially economic, social and cultural rights), indigenous peoples and refugees. In the last ten years, I have lived in Belgium, Turkey, Cambodia and Burma/Myanmar, where I have worked with governmental and non-governmental organisations, as well as with two agencies of the United Nations. I am fluent in English, Dutch, French, German and Spanish, and have already acquired a good basic command of Bahasa Indonesia.
I am currently looking for an appointment, preferably in the field of governance and the environment, where, if possible, my communication, creative, networking, coaching, interpersonal skills and/or even musical talent could also find expression.
