Living costs near Dublin Airport

Hi, I am an American (Texan) currently living in Washington DC on a 42ft boat. I am married to a Portuguese guy and will file for my Portuguese passport in March 2008. I am considering taking a job with Aer Lingus and the offices are at the Dublin Airport (Summer of 2008).

I would like to find an inexpensive efficiency apartment near the airport that I could use public transportation to get to and from work.

Any ideas? What is the normal going rate?
