School Advice - Dublin from USA

We will be moving to Dublin in the next 2 months - any advice on best time to move a 10 yr old into a new school? Our daughter is in fifth grade here in NJ - heard great things about Irish education, but is the school year (schedule) comparable to US? Better to move her now - instead of waiting for a new school year to commence? HELP!!!!
