IT work in Ireland

Is the IT industry in Ireland really booming as much as advertised?

I'm at the end of the beginning of my career :)

5 years of support and IT management, most of it small business.

I know it's one of the visa fast track paths but that doesn't translate much to reality.

I spent 4 weeks in Ireland and I would love to get in on a tech boom in a country that I have much respect for.

How does one go about getting a job overseas? Should I start blasting out CV's to places I find online? Are there tech specific recruiters?
