Help!

I'm trying to move to Ireland to be with my boyfriend. We plan on getting married and such (crazy I know) but we're nuts for each other and are ready to be together. I'm just not sure how everything is going to work out. How would I go about staying there? His parents have agreed to help with expenses but what am i supposed to tell immigration and all? I don't want to get off the plane and have to turn right back around :( any advice?
