Questions on Ireland

Hey Everyone,

I just had a couple of questions. I plan to move to Ireland for 2 months on my travels throughout Europe, I am a 21 year old female, I am looking to work, hopefully in a pub in either Kilarney or Cork. Can anyone give suggests on either, I am open to other places as well. Would it be recommended that I line up a place to live before arriving or going there and searching, I'm just not sure how easy it will be once I am there. I plan to just rent a room for the 2 months.
My last question would be relating to work, I would really like to work in a pub, in Canada in order to legally serve alcohol we must obtain a liquor license, is there a license I would need to get before I could work in a pub in Ireland.
