Looking for a way to live in Ireland!

Hi, I'm a resident of Phoenix, AZ and I am looking for a way to live in Ireland for 6mo -- 1 year. I work from my computer so I don't need a job there. I'm willing to swap my house with someone, but can also rent a room from someone in Ireland. I am a single 35yr old woman, with a professional job (bioethicist) and a graduate degree. I'm also half Irish. ;-)

I wish to know what that would cost, where a great place to live would be, or any other crazy suggestion anyone might have. I have a lot of freedom, now I'm just looking for a way to do something amazing with it! Thank you!!!
