Moving with a 14 year old.

My daughter Emma and I are moving to Ireland sometime between Sept 2013 and Feb 2014. I am finishing my disseration and I will be defending it sometime between those dates. Then we are off to the Emerald Isle. We are coming over in June 2013 to look around as prospective "live-ins" rather than tourists and need help on finding secondary schools, housing, sailing club for Emma (see races laser sailboats with a youth crew where we live and wants to continue) as well as just figure out what is involved in setting up house. Any help would be wonderful.
