Moving to Ireland.

Hi,

I'm new to this forum and I was just wondering on the complications of moving to Ireland from the U.S. My girlfriend and I have been doing some serious research about getting work permits and everything else, and it seems nearly impossible to acquire a work permit if you're not European. Is there any way we can make our dream become a reality and move to Ireland?
