Where to move within the country?

Hi all,

I'm about to start a new life in Ireland, and planning to move there in October from Hungary. I was wondering where exactly to go, I have Co. Cork ( I.e. Mallow) and Waterford (I.e. Dungarvan) in mind. Any other suggestions and/or pros and cons for the 2 mentioned above? Searching for a small town where one can find a job and rents are not too expensive... Thanks in advance!
