delayed visa decision for Join Spouse Visa

Hi all!!

I'm from Philippines married to an EU citizen living in Ireland, I applied for Join Spouse Visa and until now waiting for the decision for almost 8months time now, we were wondering until when we have to wait. Since we are kind of rush right now because I'm pregnant. Is there anybody had experience like this situation? Or is there other way we can do? Thanks in advance!! Quick response would greatly much appreciated.
