EU - citizen Self Employed and looking to come over

Hi, I am a Dutch National looking for a move to Ireland. I am self employed, with a decent regular income and interested in moving in a few months from the UK to a more rural area away from the city stress (Kerry?). Looking to rent a nice cottage where I can work and live. Taxation is all clear to me. But maybe you fellow self employed expats have some do's and don'ts and tips for me regarding location, housing (landlords, deposits) and most important what about the internet? What can I expect there? As my jobs are depending on it. Thanks for your help in advance
