Contemplating Move

Hello all,
I'm new to this forum, so I guess I'll start with our situation.
I am a UK citizen living in the US. My domestic partner is US citizen, we have one child together (under 18.)

We are wanting to move to Ireland, but since this is my first move to another country on my own, I'm getting a little confused on what all we need to apply for.

From what I understand we all definitely need passports; but I'm not sure what visas or other documents we would have to apply for.
If I understand correctly, my partner (not married) would need to apply for a work visa?
Also I'm not sure what extra documents I may need for our child. She has UK citizenship through me, though has a US birth certificate (not sure if it matters), would she only need a passport or are there other documents too?

Sorry it's so much but I don't have many people to ask.
Thanks in advance.
