Best Places to Raise A Family

We've been to Dublin and love the lifestyle. We've traveled all over the country but want a more personal account for where the best towns to raise four kids, ages ranging from 12-1. I'm a stay-at-home parent so the littlest wouldn't be a priority. The other three are 12, 7, and 6. What are good schools, places that have family friendly activities, parks, restaurants, history, etc. We're not opposed to living the country life but would love to be closer to areas offering a lot of culture and activities to do/see. Where we live you'd call it the "suburbs" so something to that similarity.
