US Tax benefits for Americans living in israel

U.S. Citizens living abroad are entitled to a tax credit of $1,000 per child with only a minimal taxable U.S. income. Until 2009, you needed an income of over $8,000 a
year, but in 2009, you only need a taxable income of $3000 (for US citizens living in Israel). So many more families are eligible this year, and it is not too late to take advantage of it – you can apply for a while longer, but the sooner you start the process, the sooner you get the money! If you file U.S. taxes from out of the United States, make sure you are aware of this benefit to you. One company, which has been helpful in this endeavor, is U.S. Benefits. Their website is http://www.usbenefits4u.com/childTaxCredit.asp.
