Looking for roommate in Rome

Hello all:

I am a 54-year-old, male freelance translator currently living in the Chicago area and I plan to move to Rome this March or April. I would be interested in sharing an apartment or sub-leasing a furnished apartment if someone is leaving town. I would also appreciate it if anyone could give me some suggestions of other places to look for roommates or apartments for rent either without an agency, or suggestions of agencies that you have had a good experience with.
