Are there any trulli people here?

I've only seen pictures of trullis but I'm thinking about buying a cheap one for a semi-permanent retirement home. Has anybody on this board lived in one? Is it a realistic idea? I am happy with really simple conditions and love the idea of living in a small group of stone igloos that would only need to be whitewashed occasionally. What do you think? Good idea or unrealistic fantasy?
