Hi
What are state schools like in Italy generally, southern Sardinia particularly? We are currently living in the UK, and I am saving money to send our twins to good private schools here. However, we are considering a move to Sardinia to be close to my wife's family. Our income would substantially drop (definitely in the short-term, possibly permanently) and we wouldn't be able to afford to send them to boarding school in the UK, or to an international school in Italy. I know that no Italian universities featured in the "world top 50" released a few months back, but I don't know about primary and secondary schools.
Any information gratefully received. I'd love to go - the thought of all that mortgage interested I wouldn't have to pay - but I'm not going to compromise the kids' education for that.
