I'm moving with my husband to Turin, Italy in two months. We could be there short or long-term (4months - permanently). I'm looking for some other English-speakers to befriend, hopefully people around my age (27) and who might enjoy literature, psychology, walking, photography, and just talking about life, travel and immigration.
I'm from Pennsylvania, U.S. and my husband is from Australia. We met while traveling and ever since then at least one of us has been an immigrant.
I've lived abroad short-term before (Melbourne, Australia and Rome, Italy) and felt isolated and bored. This time around I'm looking to stay busy and make friends.
Also-- if anyone has any good recommendations for classified type websites (like craigslist) that are commonly used in Turin, any online sources for finding apartments, good places to go for expats, ect... please let me know!
Thank you.
