Any advice appreciated!
We are a young couple with a baby, hoping to move to Italy within a year. We are still deciding where.
We don't want to be in a city, more a village or town with lots of countryside.
We are rock climbers, and want to live somewhere close to some good climbing. Below is a list of good areas that I have found on the web.
Potenza
Sicily
Sardinia
Liguria
Finale Ligure
Lecco
Arco
I am also really into sustainability, eco living etc, and would love to find a community that retained these values.
Also, I am really looking forward to some great weather as I intend to buy land and do lots of self sufficiently aimed farming. Is the north too cold and the south too hot? Where is best?
And finally, what is the state of the job market out there? We hope to buy land outright and have lodgers for a little income but will probably need to get casual work too. With our little Italian, would this be difficult?
Thanks all,
Rebecca
