US Citizen with minor child marrying italian citizen in italy

My fiance and i are planning on marrying in italy within the next several months.

I have a teenage son I want to move with me at the time we marry.

Can I establish residency for myself and my son once my fiance and i are married?

I am uncertain if i need to obtain visas or if we can go only on passports and establish residency after marriage in italy???
